Barnsole Primary School and Nursery converted to academy status in May 2017. Barnsole Primary is a vibrant three-form entry school for 2-11 year olds and is based in Gillingham, Kent.
The school was graded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted - March 2016. The staff at Barnsole work exceptionally hard to provide fun, memorable learning experiences for all children. Bligh Primary School converted to academy status in October 2017. It was formally known as The Bligh Federation and consists of Bligh Primary Infant School and Bligh Primary Junior School. It is an oversubscribed, expanding school in South Strood catering for children between the ages of 2 – 11 years old.
Bligh Infant School was graded Outstanding in all areas in July 2015 and Bligh Junior School was graded Good in all areas in February 2013. The schools are committed to ‘unlocking potential for lifelong learning’ for all children to achieve the best possible outcomes for the future.

Danecourt is a Primary phase Special Educational Needs (SEN) school catering for 151 pupils aged 4 – 11, who have a wide range of complex learning difficulties. Pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP’s), are referred for consideration of a placement via the Medway SEN department.
Converting to academy status in September 2015, having previously been judged by Ofsted as Outstanding, the staff at Danecourt are committed to providing the very best care and education for pupils in an inspiring learning environment, where everyone is ‘Valued, Respected, Safe and Successful’, securing the best possible individual outcomes.
